Update #1: vimeo.com fragt nach keiner Passwortbestätigung (schlecht für Grobmotoriker wie mich) und lässt mich eh nur maximal 8 MB hochladen, womit der Pornokaraoke-Video-Test dort schonmal fehlgeschlagen wäre.
Update #2: Die Verifizierungsmail von dailymotion.com kommt nicht. Schweinerei. Im Hintergrund läuft der Upload des Videos auf youtube.com. Knapp 18 MB. Da merkt man, wie völlig für den Arsch das Uploaden größerer Files über HTTP ist. (Es sei denn, man benutzt Rails. Hahahah!)
Update #3: nach einem anstrengenden Upload von knapp 18 MB über HTTP (urks) sagt mir youtube.com, dass ich doch bitte mindestens drei Tags eingeben sollte. (Ich hatte zwei eingegeben.) Ächz, stöhn, keuch, bitte halte mich einer zurück, arghlgrrmm. Okay. Nochmal.
Update #4: Upload auf youtube.com hat geklappt. Mit drei Tags. Dafür haben sie das Video nach ein paar Minuten wieder entfernt, weil es sich dabei ja um einen Mitschnitt einer Fernsehsendung handelte. Verdammt. Vielleicht finde ich doch irgendwann mal eine Gelegenheit, das Teil online zu stellen, ohne den Traffictod sterben zu müssen. Die dailymotion.com-Mail ist immer noch nicht da.
